Pam Cline, LCSW
TherapistPam has a BA from the University of Minnesota and earned her Master’s degree from Portland State University in 1997. She has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2001. Pam works from an understanding of positive psychology, the study of human happiness and life satisfaction, to provide a supportive counseling experience for those suffering to find acceptance and healing.
Pam tailors her work to the needs of the client, using a mixture of solution-focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She provides individual, couples, and family therapy, and is knowledgeable in the treatment of depression, PTSD, grief and loss, anger management, anxiety disorders, phobias, adjustment and transitional problems, the management of chronic pain, problems with addiction, stress management and relationship conflicts.
Pam has worked with a variety of populations, including children, teens, adults, families, couples, active duty military, veterans, and victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse. Her experience includes working in residential treatment as an adolescent counselor to troubled teens, working with families teaching parent education to prevent out of home placements, and working in community mental health settings.
She ran her own clinical practice from 2007-2011, specializing in PTSD, depression, relationship conflicts and resolution, and anxiety and stress management. In 2011 she moved to Germany to work with the Department of Defense to provide assessment, diagnosis and treatment to active duty soldiers and their families. She has recently returned to the States and now practices in Oregon.
