Jennie Sullivan Vernier, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social WorkerJennie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and has been a practicing clinician for 7 years. She received a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and a Masters of Social Work with a Direct Human Services emphasis. Jennie’s experience includes providing individual, couples, family and group therapy for a wide array of treatment needs including navigating life transitions (grief, divorce, etc.), managing physical health conditions, and coping with mental health concerns.
Jennie uses a collaborative, strengths-based approach with her clients. Jennie prioritizes the development of a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship so that clients may feel safe and comfortable to explore all their treatment needs in their journey towards recovery. Jennie has received training in the use of Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Additionally, Jennie is a Certified Compassion Fatigue Therapist specializing in work with helping professionals in order to manage issues of burnout and work-related stress.
